Our concrete workers – Leonidas and Adonis – agreed on the order of work. The hill is ‘difficult’, both for earthworks and concrete. This will take whole spring and the most of summer, probably.

A verdict has been passed on the big olive, it is unlikely to be saved. Although it does not touch the house, the roots will almost certainly be damaged by the excavator.
Yesterday there was a hailstorm with a huge amount of water. You can see that the water from above is failing and flowing over our fortified hill – it looks like everything is working.

At this point in time we have 500 m3 of concrete in our heads, the same amount of displaced earth, retaining walls, beams, megales petres, excavators, pumps.

We probably won’t even notice spring and the meadow dug up, forevermore.
