Concreting is in its final stages – the horizontal ring beam will be poured this week, along with the internal stairs between levels. This will allow bricklayers, stonemasons and carpenters to start work.

The construction has been carefully wrapped to prevent smelly dampness from entering the house in the part below ground level. We are also planning careful water management above ground.

Water will be supplied from the church below. Neither of the two options proposed was accepted: the shortest crosses the neighbor’s plot, the one by the road is really long. But we have rema – where the pipe might be laid. It’s only a few meters longer than the shortest option, and potentially safer than the one by the road.
